The Biscay Bay Environmental Specimen Bank (BBEBB) is located in the Plentzia Marine Station (PiE-UPV/EHU) of the University of the Basque Country.
Renown experts will discuss new challenges for ESBs regarding biological effects assessment, legislation challenges in storage, ethics and samples delivery (Nagoya Protocol), temporal and spatial trend data for regulated substances and chemicals of emerging concern, case studies, and new banking initiatives.
