Created at August 30, 2010

Join the activities of the German Environmental Specimen Bank on 7 September, when the ESB will be demonstrating samplings and sample treatments.

  • Sampling of soil and treatment by sieving the sampled material and freezing it over liquid nitrogen.
  • Sampling of suspended particulate matter in a sedimentation box.
  • Bream of the river Mulde swim in a big pool; their sampling and treatment are described on posters.

Additional posters will inform about the results of soil analysis and the developments for optimising the sedimention boxes.
