Upcoming presentations of results from the German Environmental Specimen Bank

In September, the German Environmental Specimen Bank will present results at two scientific conferences: ICEI Trier and SETAC GLB

From 16-19 September 2013, the University of Trier hosts the 20th International Conference on Environmental Indicators. Organiser of this conference is the department of biogeography, who also carries out the standardised sampling of the plant and animal specimens of the German Environmental Specimen Bank (ESB).

The ESB project team Trier will present a poster on Temporal Trends of Lead and Benzo[a]pyrene in Germany and a member of the ESB team of the Federal Environment Agency will give a keynote presentation on Chemical Monitoring in Regulatory Practice introducing the session biomonitoring.

At the 18th annual meeting of the SETAC GLB from 23-26 September 2013 in Essen results from the ESB study on mecury isotopic signatures in fish from German rivers will be presented.
