International Conference on Environmental Specimen Banks, 12-15 October 2013, Shanghai, China

This year's conference motto is: Securing a Strategy to Monitor Emerging Pollutants in the Regional and Global Environment

The conference is hosted by the Tongji University, which is also involved in establishing the national Yangtze Environmental Specimen Bank (YESB).

The German Environmental Specimen Bank (ESB) will attend the meeting. The German ESB team and its contractors will present their current findings in lectures and posters.

Besides the exchange on scientifc findings another focus of the conference will be the discussion on the sustainable development, management and international cooperation of Environmental Specimen Bank network coping with regional and global environmental changes.
