Per- and polyfluorinated alkylated substances (PFAS) are mainly used for their water, fat and dirt repellent functions. Thus humans are exposed towards these substances through many different products.

The newest German Environmental Specimen Bank's dataset continues the trend evaluation of PFAS exposure and shows the development of the exposure towards the four main substances of this group.
