N-alkyl-pyrrolidones
N-Alkyl-pyrrolidones are extensively used solvents. In Europe they are produced and imported in the margin of multiple thousand tonnes. They play an important role in the production of polymers, paints and cleaning products. The most common pyrolidones N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone und N-Ethyl-2-pyrrolidone are classified as reproductive toxicants.
