Wimbachtal
The sampling site Wimbachtal is located in a high valley at an altitude of 1100 m.
The soil sampling site is situated in a spruce stand. The dominant soil type at this site is Rendzina
(German soil classification KA 4) which originate from debris of Ramsau dolomite. Besides rendzines, cambisols and transitional soil types occur in areas with high accumulation of fine materials.
